The Chinese Feng Shui Compass - Tool of the Feng Shui Practitioner
The Chinese Feng Shui compass is a magnetically polarized tool, used to indicate the flow and harmony in the world and the spaces around us. Ever since its creation in ancient China, Feng Shui masters have taken its advice in the use of materials and discovering the hub of energy inside any building.
In contrast to the Western world's compass that directs you toward the North Pole, the Chinese compass actually guides the bearer to the South Pole. This resulted from an ancient experiment that revealed to the old scientists that the magnetic pool of the planet originates from the South and travels North, so they designed a compass that would always seek the starting point.
The Lo-Pan (meaning 'bowl of everything' or 'bowl leading to the entire metaphysical universe) is used mostly to direct the construction of new buildings in such a way that the energies within the building flow freely and appropriately with the surrounding natural habitat. For a finished building, the Lo-Pan evaluates areas of rooms and doorways to find any problem spots that need further protection or adornments against negative energy.
Since metallic objects disrupt the readings the compass needle gives out, it is also believed that a concentration of metals blocks the entire flow of the planet in that spot, meaning negative forces might take advantage and open a portal. Masters and advisers will obviously suggest a removal or greater dispersion of these metals if at all possible.
Qi, or Chi, is the name of the planet's life force in Feng Shui. Chi must be given proper passageway through every space to fill it with light energy, and push away any negative thoughts or powers. Lucky bamboo and coins can be used as additives to encourage specific kinds of Chi, such as fortune, into the home and residents' lives.
The compass makes the job of assessing a space much easier, in that it can be exacting and precise about what elements need to be paid attention to, and what areas are flowing nicely. The user discerns this by facing the area in question, then examining the direction of the needle. All polar directions on the compass's face are divided symbolically to represent certain elements, and Feng Shui wisdom directs where items belong. If these two directions correlate, then balance has been found.
The Chinese have used this method of spiritually guided architecture for centuries, and even their cities show signs of alignment with natural forces. The Chinese Feng Shui compass comes in various forms, and levels of complication, which allows both beginners and experts to consult the ancient wisdom of science melded with nature, and the quest for internal and external harmony.
I added a new hard drive and cant boot to windows?
I just took an old HDD out of a Dell dimension 8100. popped it into a compac (newer one. The IDE ribbon spot was free ont eh mother board so thats where I hooked it up. I have no idea what i as doing. I just know I wanted to recover some pictures and music. a zip tied power line fit the old HDD fine and now when i start the comp up it says windows did not start properly and keeps repeating. HELP lol what do I do
Ok I got the computer running. I see Local Disk E. There seems to be almost nothing on it. I know it was loaded to this poor little 55gig hilt with pics and music. I do see some folders it won let me access, it says I need permission to use view them and some pictures. but nearly as many there should be. any help with that and TY to the first response. It worked perfect

you need some recovery program which can scan your disk E and recover your pics and music. I used asoftech recovery before which you may try, quite straight forward and easy to use. You can read more information from software website
