Selecting The Best Muay Thai Gear
Muay Thai gear honors the tradition of that country with its name. The fighting style described by the brand name has been a part of the culture in Thailand for many years. It has spread over to many other countries, where it is often preferred since it gives a higher chance of victory over the opponent. Currently, there are hundreds of clubs where people worldwide spar using this traditional method. There are even fight clubs in several States in America that embrace the method. Janjira Gym, located in Chicago is only one of them. Many companies in Thailand produce Muay Thai gear. For centuries, Thailand has nurtured martial artists. Athletes in that nation prefer to engage in kickboxing, mixed marital arts and karateka. Taekwondo is also a popular sport in the country.
The designs found on the apparel are attractive. A wide range of colors are available, so every athlete can choose a line with something to satisfy them. If a boxer wants to go even further, and request individual designs, this is also possible with some manufacturers. The customer can get their shin guards and other equipment that expresses their personality.
A fighter must know what it is that he or she wants from their sportswear. While some manufacturers have very outstanding designs, there are also companies that produce sport apparel that is less flashy. It is not uncommon to see designs that are built around red, blue, black, yellow and other classic combinations of colors.
Some of the more established brands have experimented with different lines. Whenever these lines were not successful, the company cut back production of those designs. Glitzy fancy lines are available and so are colorful, American-looking styles.
Some of the Muay Thai gear which can be purchased to last a while are boxing gloves and shin guards. A good shin guard will have high quality padding. Some items are made with the highest quality cow skin. Make sure that you select the best, so that you get items that are worth your money. Shorts, belly protectors and other items you want to buy should all be checked carefully.

Movie Stars are TRUE MMA masters?
I read this question where people were saying that Bruce lee wouldn't be dominate in UFC...
Do you people forget that all Martial Arts actors have studied various fighting styles and participated in tournaments for their entire lives. Bruce Lee mastered Jujitsu, Jeet Kun Do and Wing Chun Gung Fu. (Most UFC and MMA fighters hardly know more then 2 styles, yet alone mastering them!). Tony Jaa is skilled in Muay Thai, Muay Boran, Krabi Krabong, and gymnastics. You all really think they wouldn't be forces in the MMA and UFC fields?
First I want to say that Bruce Lee probably wouldn't dominate in today's MMA because of the rules. However, He did have success in both sanctioned competitions and street fights back in his day. He won alot, but he still lost a few. Anyway, guys like Tony Jaa, Jet Li, Benny the Jet Uriquidez, Bill Superfoot Wallace, Don the Dragon Wilson, all studied martial arts and became masters of their craft. They all have outstanding professional fighting records except for Tony Jaa. If he ever decided to fight, Muay Boran is an art that has been proven to work. If anyone knows its history, that martial art saved its nation. Anyhow, MMA doesn't really have too many fighters who began their martial arts training when they were little. Cung Le for example did start his training at the age of 4, and look at him now. He is the most prolific stand up fighter in the history of MMA.
