With their easy to use format and solid technology, wonders abound int the world of pocket sized cameras. They take ever clearer, crisper photos with vivid colors and details. Everyone has their preferences about things such as photo qualities, i.e. softness of objects, and the the accessories needed. But if a camera maker concentrates on one area, the quality and performance in others can lapse. Today we're bringing you a discussion of three pocket size cameras that you should acquaint yourself with so you'll have a richer understanding when it's time to shop. Also, in case you're interested, you should definitely have a look at the GoPro, it's excellent. Here is a GoPro review.
When it comes to a small profile, the Casio Exilim Z1050 has a lot to offer. It was one of the slimmest of its kind and is still competitively ultra-thin. With 10 megapixel resolution, this digital camera is as feature rich as it is stylish. Many users find the ease of use for this camera to be the most desirable feature by far. Some people have no interest in learning everything the user's manual has to say about operating a new camera. For some people they want to be able to charge the battery, point, and click. Not only does this camera feature 3x zoom but it also offers stabilization so that shaking hands are not a problem.
Next up is the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T100. Face detecting technology that was patented by Sony is a major draw for this camera. The camera features 8 megapixels resolution with 5x zoom and a 3 inch LCD display. Flash metering is yet another feature of this camera that controls the amount of flash so you're your photos have picture perfect flesh tones. Many people feel that the image processing capacity of this camera is its best feature. Diminished response requirements, greater battery life, and better overall quality of images are just a few of the advantages on board processing allows.
The last camera we'll be looking at is the Canon PowerShot S95 which comes with lots of manual features for those who like to work with their hands. The photos this little gem produces are gems themselves. It's an ultra-compact digital with a more reasonable 10 megapixels, includes a multimedia card, SD memory card, and a 3 inch LCD. It use the pop-up variety of flash. Many of these great features were brought forward from the S90. For the S95, they improved the video resolution to 720p. Another feature is you can now capture up to three photos at different intervals of exposure. The camera uses these captured photos to give you one photo with more detail in all respects.
So many terrific digital pocket sized cameras with fabulous features, so little time. We're seeing a lot of follow up designs now to correct the shortcomings that weren't noticeable until after production. But that is fine with many people, and us, as well. When looking for a ultra compact camera, keep in mind that people have various uses for their cameras. Before you go, be sure to look at this GoPro HD Motorsports HERO review.
