Had a good day going 2-0 in basketball and 2-2 in baseball. I really thought I would go 3-1 in baseball though. The play I got screwed on was the Yankees/White Sox game. I had under 10½, the score is 1-1 going into the 8th inning. Looks like a winning bet right? I mean, are they really going to score 10 runs in 2 innings? By the end of the 8th, the score was 4-3 Yankees. Okay I don’t like that but I still feel good about the bet. Well, I was wrong big time. Yankees load the bases and Alex Rodriguez is up to bat. Of course he hits a grand slam bringing the total score to 11. Good bye under 10½! Oh well, shit happens.

As expected, the Spurs won game one easily. Their big 3 (Duncan, Ginobili and Parker) combined for 67 points. Tony Parker had a field day getting to the basket at will.

San Antonio’s defense was terrific holding Lebron James to 14 points on 4 of 16 shooting. Cleveland was held to 76 points as a team.

To sum it up, I honestly don’t think Cleveland stands a chance in this series. Spurs in 5.

Although I think the Spurs roll in this series, I don’t know what to expect today. The Spurs haven’t played in over a week, which is good for them, but they may come out a bit rusty. Doubtful though. What I do feel confident about, is their defense. Lebron will more than likely continue to get his, but I can’t say the same for the rest of the Cavs. Gibson will not get all those free looks like he did last series. Likewise for Gooden.
